About the position

The Finance Manager at Mossy Honda is responsible for generating additional revenue by selling finance and after-sale products to both new and used customers. This role requires a strong background in dealership management and automotive sales, with a focus on finance selling. The Finance Manager will work primarily on a commission basis, with expected earnings ranging from $130,000 to $280,000 annually, depending on performance. The position emphasizes ethical business practices and compliance with all relevant regulations.

Responsibilities

• Help customers arrange financing for their purchases and present additional products that enhance their vehicle ownership experience.
• Structure deals for maximum profitability and collectability.
• Maintain proficiency and certifications as required for the position.
• Accurately desk deals, submit them to lenders for approval, make credit decisions, and effectively close deals while ensuring collection of all finance fees.
• Ensure all deals comply with local, state, and federal guidelines.
• Prepare paperwork, contracts, and deliver deals to customers.
• Audit team deals post-sale for correct title, loan information, taxes, etc.
• Ensure the expeditious funding of all contracts through financial sources to secure approval.
• Establish and maintain good working relationships with finance sources, including manufacturers.
• Conduct business in an ethical and professional manner.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent experience.
• Valid CA Driver's License & Clean Driving Record.
• Knowledge of dealership finance and insurance procedures.
• Leadership abilities and outstanding customer service skills.
• Excellent verbal/written communication, strong negotiation, and presentation skills.

Nice-to-haves
