About the position

The Finance Manager will play a crucial role in providing financial planning, analysis, and performance reporting for the Bank's leadership. This position is essential for supporting the Bank's growth by managing financial models, conducting complex data analyses, and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements. The Finance Manager will collaborate with various departments to drive operational efficiency and provide strategic recommendations to enhance financial performance.

Responsibilities

  • Provide financial planning, analysis, and performance reporting for Bank leadership, covering areas like annual budgeting, quarterly forecasting, and monthly Board reporting.
  • Contribute to building and maintaining the Bank's long-term financial model and provide strategic recommendations to the leadership team.
  • Manage key assumptions for Asset and Liability Committee (ALCO) and liquidity models.
  • Develop presentations and communicate key business trends and insights to leadership.
  • Collaborate with subject matter experts across the Bank to understand drivers of financial performance and integrate them into forecasts and budgets.
  • Support finance transformation projects, including automation, tool implementation, and data optimization initiatives.
  • Create scalable financial models and reporting templates for the Finance team, ensuring high standards for data integrity, consistency, and accuracy.
  • Develop and maintain dashboards to share financial performance insights with executives.
  • Establish and uphold model risk management practices, including comprehensive model documentation and control measures.
  • Conduct complex data analysis, reconciliation, and merging of datasets.
  • Reconcile monthly and quarterly financial results with forecast expectations and provide insightful fluctuation analyses.
  • Prepare supporting schedules for internal and external financial reporting requirements.
  • Assist the Accounting and Finance team with special projects, scenario analysis, and ad hoc requests.
  • Ensure regulatory requirements are met by verifying that internal controls are effective.
  • Perform additional duties as needed to support the Accounting and Finance department.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in accounting/finance or similar field of study.
  • 5+ years of relevant experience in FP&A functions.
  • CPA, MBA, CFA, and/or CMA designation preferred.
