The Finance Manager will manage the preparation of financial reports which may include accounting, regulatory, or management reports. This role involves developing and directing the preparation of reports that assist in the analysis by senior management or other recipients of performance or position of the in-scope area. The Finance Manager will analyze assigned financial reports, augmenting with further research as needed, and provide recommendations to management based on findings. This position requires close collaboration with central functions, such as the Accounting Policy team or Law Division, and involves developing, recommending, and implementing accounting policies and procedures in response to new laws and regulations. Additionally, the Finance Manager will manage various financial reporting projects or studies. Key responsibilities include assisting with the preparation of executive presentation materials related to internal and external reporting, such as annual and long-range plans, forecasts, SEC reporting, and monthly, quarterly, and annual financial results. The role also involves updating weekly sales data reporting, which includes compiling data from various sources, analyzing trends, and identifying key insights to communicate to executive leadership. The Finance Manager will assist in the preparation of earnings material and quarterly reporting, build and maintain effective working relationships with various groups across Payment Services and U.S. Bank, and prepare ad hoc reports while leading cross-functional special projects as required. The role offers a hybrid/flexible schedule, which means there's an in-office expectation of 3 or more days per week and the flexibility to work outside the office location for the other days.
