About the position

As a Finance Manager at CBRE, you will lead a team responsible for finance strategy and operations, including budget preparation, forecasting, strategic planning, and management reporting. This role involves maintaining accounting and financial policies, supervising staff, and ensuring accurate financial reporting.

Responsibilities

  • Provide formal supervision to employees.
  • Supervise the training and development of staff.
  • Conduct performance evaluations and mentor team members.
  • Lead all aspects of recruiting and hiring new employees.
  • Coordinate and own the team's daily activities.
  • Establish work schedules, assign tasks, and cross-train staff.
  • Set and track staff and department deadlines.
  • Mentor and coach as needed.
  • Lead the budgeting, forecasting, planning, and reporting processes.
  • Review balance sheet account analysis and standard consolidated reporting packs for accuracy.
  • Review and approve basic monthly journal entries.
  • Produce routine and ad hoc financial reports for senior management.
  • Coordinate research and preparation of accounting policies and procedures.
  • Exchange and explain difficult information and handle critical issues.
  • Influence parties of shared interests to reach agreements.
  • Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve day-to-day and moderately complex issues.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree preferred with 3-5 years of relevant experience.
  • Experience in staffing, selection, training, development, coaching, and performance appraisal preferred.
  • Ability to communicate critical and complicated information effectively.
  • Leadership skills to empower team impact on quality and efficiency.
  • In-depth knowledge of Microsoft Office products, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
  • Extensive organizational skills with a strong inquisitive approach.
  • Intermediate math skills for financial calculations.
  • Experience in Project Management financial planning.
