About the position

Volkswagen of Nanuet is seeking a seasoned Finance and Insurance Manager with a minimum of 5 years of experience in finance and insurance (F&I) within the automotive industry. This customer-facing role offers the opportunity to earn commission on top of a competitive salary, while managing financial services goals and ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations.

Responsibilities

• Meet with customers to discuss options including value-added insurance, GAP coverage, and warranties.
• Responsible for the attainment and gross production of financial services' goals and objectives.
• Review customer credit applications.
• Control the deal flow in the showroom.
• Make extended service contracts and other owner protection programs available to customers.
• Assess profitability to the dealership of financing arrangements.
• Utilize a menu selling process.
• Ensure necessary documentation for each deal is complete by utilizing a deal checklist.
• Maintain Customer Satisfaction scores at or above company standards.
• Work closely with the sales team, providing leadership and guidance.
• Ensure compliance with all laws and regulatory obligations relative to financial services and products.
• Support the dealership's initiative in Safeguard and Transaction compliance programs.
• Comply with all Safeguard and Transaction compliance rules and regulations.
• Ensure that all organizational activities and operations are carried out in compliance with organizational guidelines and local, state, and federal regulations and laws governing business operations.
• Oversee completion and submission of all financing documents.
• Act as liaison between the customer and the lending institution.
• Reinforce company policies and adhere to company standards.
• Encourage compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
• Ensure adherence to F&I reporting requirements of the company.
• Maintain effective employee relations.
• Promote and maintain good customer satisfaction index.

Requirements

• Minimum of 5 years of automotive experience in finance and insurance (F&I).
• Experience with CDK software.
• Knowledge of Volkswagen/Audi vehicles.
• High school diploma or equivalent (preferred).

Nice-to-haves

• Experience in a dealership setting (3 years preferred).
