In this role, you will lead the team in managing all monthly financial close activities to ensure completeness, accuracy, and timeliness of all journal entries, account reconciliations, and financial reporting deliverables. You will manage the performance and day-to-day workload of assigned staff, gaining a comprehensive understanding of client and corporate accounting requirements. This includes translating those requirements to operational and finance teams and maintaining processes to ensure established requirements are met. You will create and present a consolidated monthly reporting package that includes variance analysis, supporting schedules, and forward-looking commentary inclusive of risks and opportunities to the contractual budget. Additionally, you will oversee cash management procedures to ensure accounts receivable/payable objectives and contractual vendor repayment requirements are achieved. Providing leadership on financial activities to a variety of non-financial audiences and operational teams, including clients, property managers, and engineers, will be a key part of your responsibilities. Your role will also involve developing, maintaining, and implementing processes and financial controls within the framework of GAAP, JLL policies, and client policies. You will oversee the annual budgeting and quarterly forecasting processes for global finance teams and assist in the compilation and analysis of financial and operational data required for certain quarterly Key Performance Indicators (KPIs). Acting as an advisor and strategic partner for all financial, operational, and client matters will be essential, as will becoming a subject matter expert on the client's contractual requirements to ensure appropriate interpretation, revenue recognition, and timely and accurate billing. You will identify, quantify, propose, and implement ongoing process improvement opportunities while managing and mentoring staff to help guide their development, including preparation of goals and recurring performance reviews.
