About the position

The Finance - Operations Analyst plays a crucial role in bridging operations and finance within the pharmaceutical industry. This dynamic position focuses on production planning, ensuring financial accuracy of manufacturing costs, and managing cash flow expectations. The analyst will develop processes to streamline operations, enhance revenue performance, and ensure timely fulfillment of customer orders while managing multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

  • Interact with operations and finance to ensure production planning and financial accuracy of manufacturing costs.
  • Manage cash flow expectations and align manufacturing operations to meet customer order timelines.
  • Develop processes and procedures to streamline operations and enhance revenue performance.
  • Prepare plan vs actual updates to management, including risks or delays and proposed solutions.
  • Provide continuous support to Operations, Finance, and Executive teams as the point of contact for internal information sharing and problem-solving.
  • Maintain bills of materials within the ERP system and manage data entry of daily operational activities.
  • Prepare demand plans to align manufacturing and procurement with customer orders.
  • Manage third-party customer orders and revise quantities as necessary.
  • Assist in project planning, reporting, and effective communication across departments, vendors, and customers.
  • Report monthly to management on the execution of batches, ensuring accuracy and adherence to timelines and budgets.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's or advanced degree in business management or related field.
  • 3-5 years of experience in project management, preferably in the pharmaceutical industry.
  • Proficiency with ERP systems, including Manufacturing, Purchasing, and Accounting modules.
  • Strong understanding of drug product manufacturing and commercialization.
  • Excellent organizational skills and ability to multitask on projects of varying complexity.
  • Strong team collaboration skills and excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Good knowledge of Microsoft Office and project management techniques.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience in biologics is a plus.
