About the position

The Finance Operations Manager at Accenture is responsible for helping finance executives tackle significant challenges by designing and implementing finance operating models and fostering business partnerships. This role requires effective interaction with client executives and a strong analytical mindset to solve complex problems. The manager will lead teams, develop service delivery models, and ensure alignment with corporate strategic priorities, ultimately driving value for clients.

Responsibilities

  • Shape and articulate the shared services and/or advanced business services strategy and business case to C-suite executives.
  • Drive the new operating model design based on corporate strategic priorities.
  • Design service delivery model components including governance, service management, and service level agreements.
  • Help clients evaluate sourcing and location alternatives for their service delivery model.
  • Create operating model transition plans and lead transition activities.
  • Develop and maintain contact with senior clients and lead proposal pursuit teams.
  • Manage engagement risk, project economics, and ensure buy-in of proposed solutions from top management levels at the client.
  • Maintain an understanding of finance and operating model trends and advancements in technology.
  • Manage teams of diverse backgrounds and encourage creative thinking.

Requirements

  • 5 years of finance and management consulting experience.
  • 5 years of combined finance and strategic consulting experience.
  • Significant project management experience.
  • Bachelor's degree.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience with Strategic Cost Reduction or Zero-Based solutions.
  • Experience in a Corporate Function in a strategic planning and performance capacity.
  • Shared Services/Business Services design or outsourcing/operations management.
  • Prior sales experience developing responses to client proposals.
