About the position

The Finance Portfolio Operations and Planning Lead, Vice President at JPMorgan Chase is responsible for managing portfolio priorities and decisions within the Consumer & Community Bank. This role involves coordinating cross-product initiatives, influencing senior stakeholders, and maintaining a strong product management culture. The position requires collaboration with product teams and the Head of Product to ensure effective communication and monitoring of the portfolio's health through key metrics and data.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate cross-product initiatives within Finance across products - plans, roadmaps, metrics, and reports
  • Support the Head of Product in influencing senior stakeholders in technology and business
  • Create content to support communication of the products and their plans to users and stakeholders
  • Monitor overall health of the portfolio through key metrics & relevant data; scale best practices and standards within the product portfolio
  • Manage timelines and impacts/risks pertaining to project deliverables to key stakeholders; ensure timely escalations to executives
  • Present findings and recommendations for action to senior leaders of the company, and support contributors to do the same for their work
  • Identify future scenarios and create a compelling case for one scenario over others; identify strategic levers, option sets, and dominant strategies
  • Benchmark against best practices in best-in-class product organizations

Requirements

  • 5+ years of full-time professional work experience
  • Experience with cross-product initiatives in complex/matrixed environments
  • Experience within a Data or Product or Operations function
  • Experience in Finance desired
  • Expert in stakeholder management; reporting complex initiatives and briefing executives
  • Bias towards action and making decisions with incomplete information
  • Understanding of Agility standards and best practices
