About the position

The Finance Project Manager at Daikin Applied is responsible for planning, directing, and coordinating finance-related projects to ensure they are completed on time and within budget. This role involves establishing work plans, staffing, and maintaining customer satisfaction throughout the project lifecycle.

Responsibilities

• Establish work plan and staffing for each phase of the project.
• Review project proposals to determine time frame, funding limitations, and procedures for accomplishing the project.
• Confer with project staff to outline work plans and assign duties and responsibilities.
• Plan and analyze assigned projects, establishing schedules and project parameters.
• Establish a professional relationship with the customer and maintain accurate status reports.
• Prepare project reports for management and clients.
• Maintain accuracy of the forecasted cost at completion.
• Ensure timely completion of assigned projects and customer satisfaction.
• Investigate customer concerns and implement corrective actions.
• Obtain acceptance and timely sign-off of the project by the customer.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field.
• 1+ years of experience as a project manager or similar role leading ERP system implementations.
• Direct work experience with SAP and Oracle.

Nice-to-haves

• Direct project management experience leading ERP implementations within a shared services function.
• Knowledge of project and program management approaches, methodology, planning, execution, tools, and phases of the project lifecycle.
