About the position

The Financial Analyst will play a crucial role within the finance team to support the Disability Services division at 24 Hour Home Care. This position involves working with large data sets, financial models, and strong analytical skills to assist in the calculation and management of provider pay rates, ensuring compliance with minimum wage changes and other regulatory requirements. The analyst will also support the budget process and collaborate with department leaders to develop tools for accurate pay rate onboarding and conduct audits to ensure provider payment accuracy.

Responsibilities

  • Research minimum wage rate changes across different municipalities and maintain updated records.
  • Assist in the calculation and management of provider pay rates, including pass-through payments and regulatory adjustments.
  • Partner with the Financial Operations team to forecast expected changes to provider pay rates for the upcoming calendar year.
  • Support department leaders in developing tools using Excel or PowerBi for accurate pay rate onboarding.
  • Model changes to pay rates and analyze their impact on the division's gross margin.
  • Lead audits of pay rates throughout the year to ensure accurate provider payments.
  • Prepare ad hoc analysis to assist in decision-making for rate changes.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of work experience within a finance team.
  • Advanced understanding of Excel.
  • Proficient understanding of SQL / Snowflake / PowerBi.
  • Ability to prepare and analyze financial statements.
  • Experience in participating in the budget process.
  • Attention to detail with precision in handling financial data.

  • Preferred experience in working with a healthcare organization.
  • Preferred experience in modeling health plan contract reimbursements.
  • Preferred experience working with multi-locations organization.
