About the position

The Finance Reporting Intermediate Analyst is responsible for generating, tracking, and submitting financial reports in coordination with the Finance Team. This role aims to accurately prepare and report business and financial transactions in compliance with local regulatory guidelines.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare and submit U.S. Corporate Regulatory Reports including FFIEC009/009a, FR2510, and FR2436.
  • Support the analysis and submission of reports to various constituencies based on requirements such as US GAAP, US Regulatory, and local statutory reporting.
  • Perform variance analysis of financial results and provide value-added analytics to key stakeholders and finance partners.
  • Maintain and enhance operational reporting and analytical procedures to ensure reporting integrity and adherence to Key Controls.
  • Assist with closing the books and sub-ledgers, including passing required adjustment entries and consolidating financials at the end of each accounting period.
  • Assist with financial and management reporting, planning and analysis, metrics, monitoring, and forecasting.
  • Document and establish business requirement documents, review test scripts, and interact with business partners for successful migrations of key technology releases.
  • Identify and resolve problems using basic Finance knowledge, escalating as needed.
  • Assist with implementing workflow or process changes and redesign.
  • Manage one or more processes, reports, procedures, or products.
  • Execute processes and procedures within defined parameters.
  • Assess risk when making business decisions, ensuring compliance with applicable laws and regulations.

Requirements

  • 2-5 years of previous experience required.
  • Structured Query Language (SQL) and/or Statistical Analysis System (SAS) experience preferred.
  • Self-motivated and detail-oriented.
  • Working knowledge of related industry practices and standards.
  • Proven problem-solving and decision-making skills.
  • Clear and concise written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office with an emphasis on MS Excel.
  • Ability to organize multiple parallel tasks/streams.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work with multiple functions.
  • Ability to work under pressure and manage deadlines or unexpected changes.
