Additionally, the Project Controller is tasked with the training, development, and management of all project business staff, ensuring that the team is equipped to handle the financial aspects of their projects effectively. Kiewit's Industrial and Water Engineering Group plays a crucial role in influencing the successful outcomes of projects across various sectors, including Food & Beverage, Mineral Processing, Renewable Fuels, and more. The Finance Supervisor will lead project forecast reviews, utilizing historical and trending data to validate forecasts while adhering to company standards for cost and revenue reporting. This position also supports the Operations team by identifying, quantifying, and communicating financial risks and opportunities, thereby aiding in decision-making processes. The Finance Supervisor is expected to manage employee performance, prepare client invoicing, oversee accounts receivable and revenue, and review project cash flow projections monthly. Furthermore, the role involves understanding prime contracts and change orders, implementing internal controls, and acting as the main contact for financial audits. Continuous improvement and fostering trust and communication within the organization are also key aspects of this position.
