About the position

The Finance/Treasury Manager will oversee operational and strategic projects related to the company's banking structure, support cash management strategies, and provide financial analysis for decision-making within the government sector in Bellevue, Nebraska. This role requires a strong background in finance and treasury management, with a focus on efficiency, accuracy, and compliance with company policies.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee the daily workflow of the department, ensuring efficiency and accuracy.
  • Support the cash forecasting process, contributing to the development of cash management banking solutions.
  • Evaluate new banking products and services to improve the company's treasury activities.
  • Analyze, review, and consolidate all operational cash flow statements for the organization.
  • Liaise with financial institutions to maintain an efficient banking structure in support of the organization's overall operations and goals.
  • Ensure accurate maintenance of bank account, balance, bank/Treasury systems, and bank service costs.
  • Document and maintain treasury policies and procedures for both Treasury Department and company use.
  • Coordinate with management on investments and loans for short- and long-range financial plans.
  • Handle discipline and termination of employees in accordance with company policy.
  • Use skills in accounting software systems, treasury, and budget processes to perform related duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Minimum of five years of experience in a similar finance or treasury role within a government setting.
  • Proficient in using 3M and various accounting software systems.
  • Experience with ADP - Financial Services is preferable.
  • Familiarity with Concur and CRM tools is required.
  • Demonstrated understanding and experience with accounting functions and accounts payable (AP).
  • Experience in preparing and managing annual budgets.
  • Knowledge of auditing practices and procedures.
  • Familiarity with budget processes within a government setting.
  • Experience in handling treasury functions, including wire transfers.
  • Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Proven leadership and team management abilities.
  • Degree in finance, accounting, or a related field from a recognized institution.
  • Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to make sound decisions based on accurate and timely analyses.
  • High level of integrity and dependability with a strong sense of urgency and results-orientation.
