About the position

The Business Management and Financial Governance team within the Finance Operations under the Finance COO organization is responsible for enhancing reporting and ensuring compliance with Citi's policies. This role focuses on driving transparency and accountability of resources, managing financial controls, and improving operational efficiency. The individual will collaborate with various stakeholders to achieve targeted objectives and outcomes, while also ensuring governance and compliance across financial processes.

Responsibilities

  • Manage financial control by applying a comprehensive understanding of the department Profit & Loss (P&L), including appropriate accruals and client allocations.
  • Drive administrative, operational, reporting, and quality improvements through partnership with internal teams.
  • Execute vendor management activities, ensuring legal requirements are met and coordinating contract negotiation and processing.
  • Provide oversight of the Business Critical Milestone Reporting process and other reporting processes to ensure quality, efficiency, and accuracy.
  • Work with Technology leadership to support the Business People strategy and the Communication strategy for the department.
  • Drive operational reporting across Finance Operations and Finance COO including weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual reviews.
  • Analyze and interpret data using tools and platforms that support business needs such as dashboards and business intelligence tools.
  • Create and deliver effective presentations for Finance COO Resourcing and Finance Operations using various media for All Hands and Ask Me Anything sessions.
  • Partner closely with Citi's forecasting teams to align and revamp the cycle process to drive greater transparency and operational practices.

Requirements

  • At least 8-10 years of overall experience in business management and financial governance.
  • Bachelor's degree required; Master's degree preferred.
  • Subject matter expertise in financial planning and analysis, data analytics, and reporting.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills with attention to detail.
  • Experience in delivering presentations to clients and senior management.
  • Strong organizational and follow-up skills with the ability to multi-task effectively in a high-volume environment.
  • Advanced Microsoft Office skills and advanced data visualization skills.
