The Financial Advisor position at Cushman & Wakefield requires a candidate with substantial knowledge and experience in commercial real estate financial analysis. The role is based in the Atlanta office and operates on a hybrid work model. A Certified Public Accountant (CPA) credential is mandatory for this position. The primary responsibility of the Financial Advisor will be to perform transaction financial analysis for Cushman & Wakefield's transaction teams and clients. This includes preparing and discussing complex discounted cash flow financial models for a wide range of commercial real estate projects. The position necessitates familiarity with GAAP standards, particularly as they relate to lease reporting under ASC 842. The candidate will engage in transaction analysis that encompasses lease comparisons, lease restructures, lease versus buy scenarios, acquisitions and dispositions, strategic real estate alternatives, subleases, relocations, build-to-suit transactions, and other customized projects. The Financial Advisor will be expected to prepare complex cash flow and GAAP analyses, make recommendations to brokers and clients, and analyze complex legal documentation related to real estate transactions. In addition to analytical tasks, the role involves preparing clear and concise documentation and spreadsheets that support the analyses for client presentations, proposals, and reports. The Financial Advisor will also participate in client meetings alongside C&W brokers or other professionals to present and discuss analyses. Quality control is a critical aspect of the role, ensuring that all client presentation materials are professional, accurate, and reflect the high standards associated with Cushman & Wakefield's work product. The candidate may also assist in strategy sessions in preparation for client conferences.
