About the position

The UBS Financial Advisor Development Program is designed for individuals who are passionate about finance and eager to build a rewarding career in wealth management. This program will equip you with a strong foundation in various essential areas such as customer service, product knowledge, financial markets, financial planning, investment strategies, consultative selling, and wealth management solutions. Through interactive training sessions, live client interactions, and ongoing learning opportunities with experienced leaders, you will develop the skills necessary to succeed as a financial advisor. As a participant in this extensive and structured paid program, you will have the opportunity to grow professionally while building and deepening relationships with our existing client base. You will be responsible for providing an exceptional client experience, which includes identifying opportunities to create more holistic client interactions and promptly handling inbound calls to effectively service client needs. Additionally, you will manage all appointments and outreach as assigned, conduct discovery conversations to deepen existing client relationships, and make suitable investment recommendations based on your analysis of complex financial situations using UBS's digital and financial planning tools. The program also includes obtaining your Series 7 and Series 66 FINRA Licenses, as well as the opportunity to achieve your Certified Financial Planner (CFP) designation through our tuition reimbursement program. This comprehensive training will prepare you to launch a successful career in a growing wealth management business, with strong earning potential and opportunities for career advancement.

Responsibilities

  • Adhere to compliance and operational procedures and requirements to protect our clients

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent, 2024 graduates welcome
  • SIE required to be completed 30 days prior to joining UBS
  • Series 7 and Series 66 must be obtained within 150 days of employment (Series 66 may be completed prior to start, highly recommended)
  • Background in business administration, wealth management, financial planning, or finance (preferred)
  • Completion of coursework on financial planning through a CFP Board Registered Program (preferred)
