About the position

The UBS Financial Advisor Development Program is designed for individuals passionate about finance and eager to build a career in wealth management. This structured program will equip participants with essential skills in customer service, financial planning, and investment strategies, preparing them to become successful financial advisors. Participants will engage in interactive training, live client interactions, and ongoing learning opportunities, while also obtaining necessary licenses and certifications.

Responsibilities

  • Identify opportunities to create more holistic client experiences
  • Promptly handle inbound calls and effectively service client needs
  • Manage all appointments and outreaches as assigned
  • Deepen existing client relationships by conducting discovery conversations and making suitable investment recommendations
  • Analyze complex financial situations utilizing UBS's digital and financial planning tools
  • Lead financial planning conversations with confidence
  • Implement financial planning solutions that support our client's goals
  • Adhere to compliance and operational procedures and requirements to protect our clients

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent, 2025 graduates welcome
  • SIE required to be completed 30 days prior to joining UBS
  • Series 7 and Series 66 must be obtained within 150 days of employment (Series 66 may be completed prior to start, highly recommended)
  • Background in business administration, wealth management, financial planning, or finance (preferred)
  • Completion of coursework on financial planning through a CFP Board Registered Program (preferred)
