As a Financial Advisor, you will provide full-time sales and service of investment and insurance products through our third-party broker-dealer. You will promote teamwork within the department and across the bank, representing INTRUST Bank in the community while focusing on developing new business relationships. Maintaining confidentiality and supporting INTRUST's Character Qualities is essential in this role.

Responsibilities

  • Provide financial advisory and consulting services.
  • Consult with customers and prospects to determine investment needs.
  • Serve under established best interest and fiduciary standards to build and manage clients' investments and serve ongoing financial needs.
  • Promote/lead with financial planning as primary servicing objective.
  • Discuss investment product solutions with customers based upon best interest standard.
  • Contact existing clients for periodic reviews, offer updated solutions, and solicit additional business.
  • Initiate and maintain relationships with Banking Center staff to solicit and encourage referrals.
  • Accountable for financial planning and advisory services including relationships, revenue, and communications.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree required.
  • Minimum 2 years prior experience working with consumers in financial services business preferred.
  • Must be conversant in financial products and service terminology.
  • Familiarity with INTRUST Bank's products and services desired.
  • Must have excellent communication skills.
  • FINRA Series 7 and 66 (or 63 & 65); appropriate state life & variable annuity insurance licensing required.

Nice-to-haves

  • Professional designations (e.g. CFP) desired.
