About the position

As a financial advisor at Edward Jones, you will partner with clients to help them achieve their long-term financial goals, including retirement planning, wealth building, estate strategies, and education funding. You will develop and grow your own practice with the support of a branch team, home-office team, and regional financial advisors, benefiting from over 100 years of company history. This role emphasizes building strong client relationships and understanding their needs to create personalized financial strategies, while also leading a branch team to ensure a high-quality client experience.

Responsibilities

  • Build relationships to create new clients via face-to-face and virtual sourcing strategies.
  • Deeply understand clients' and prospective clients' needs, priorities, and concerns to create personalized strategies.
  • Oversee branch processes to ensure a high-quality, streamlined client experience.
  • Engage the branch team to create, monitor, and adjust the branch business plan.
  • Create a highly engaging environment in the branch of mutual trust, respect, feedback, and accountability.

Requirements

  • A bachelor's degree is strongly preferred or equivalent work-related experience in the financial services industry.
  • Financial services and/or sales experience.
  • Financial services registration, licensing, or certification is required.
  • Professional and/or military career progression.
