About the position

As a financial advisor at Edward Jones, you will partner with clients to help them achieve their long-term financial goals, including retirement planning, wealth building, estate strategies, and education funding. You will develop and grow your own practice with the support of a branch team, home-office team, and regional financial advisors. Responsibilities

  • Build relationships to create new clients via face-to-face and virtual sourcing strategies.
  • Deeply understand clients' and prospective clients' needs, priorities, and concerns to create personalized strategies.
  • Oversee branch processes to ensure a high-quality client experience consistent with firm policies and procedures.
  • Engage the branch team to create, monitor, and adjust the branch business plan for effectiveness.
  • Create a highly engaging environment in the branch of mutual trust, respect, feedback, and accountability.

Requirements

  • A bachelor's degree is strongly preferred or equivalent work-related experience in the financial services industry.
  • Financial services and/or sales experience.
  • Financial services registration, licensing, or certification is required.
  • Professional and/or military career progression is beneficial.
