The Financial Advisor position at State Farm offers a unique opportunity for securities licensed professionals to build a meaningful career with a focus on client relationships rather than cold calling. This role provides a permanent base salary, access to a large existing lead book, and comprehensive training through the Wealth Academy. Advisors will work closely with a successful career agent to deliver financial planning and advice to State Farm customers, ensuring adherence to regulatory policies while fostering client education and engagement.
Responsibilities
- Offer comprehensive financial planning and advice to existing State Farm customer households.
- Partner and mentor with a career agent in developing a business plan and delivering against a client service model.
- Maintain and enhance new and existing relationships through active communication with customers, processing requests, resolving inquiries, and ensuring documentation is current.
- Demonstrate a deep understanding of financial markets and sound business judgment.
- Exhibit unwavering integrity that points toward doing right by clients at every opportunity.
- Demonstrate a passion for educating clients on technology and channels available to them to better manage their investments.
- Provide a holistic view of clients' needs and financial coaching beyond investments.
- Ensure business adherence with Tim Broyles Insurance and Financial Services Inc. and financial industry regulatory policies.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree preferred.
- Active Securities Industry Essentials (SIE) Exam, Series 6 and 63 and/or Series 65 or ChFC licenses.
- Minimum of 2 years in a Financial Advisor role or equivalent financial services experience.
- Demonstrated success in client acquisition, cultivating and maintaining client relationships, and integrating with key partners.
