About the position

The Financial Advisory Career Training Program at Year Up United is an intensive job training initiative designed for young adults aged 18-29. This program focuses on developing technical and professional skills through in-classroom training, followed by internships with leading companies in the Tampa Bay area. Participants receive personalized coaching, mentorship, and an educational stipend to support their career launch.

Responsibilities

• Participate in in-classroom skill development training.
• Engage in internships with top companies such as Bank of America, New York Life Insurance Company, or JPMorgan Chase.
• Develop professional business and communication skills.
• Build resumes and enhance interviewing and networking skills.
• Receive ongoing support and guidance throughout the program.

Requirements

• Must be between 18-29 years old.
• High school graduate or GED recipient.
• Eligible to work in the U.S.
• Available Monday-Friday throughout the program duration.
• Highly motivated to learn technical and professional skills.
• Must not have obtained a Bachelor’s degree.
