The Enrollment and Financial Aid Analyst at Texas A&M University - San Antonio plays a crucial role in optimizing financial aid processes and supporting the Enrollment Management division. This position is responsible for analyzing financial aid data to assess its effectiveness, efficiency, and equity in award distribution. The Analyst will utilize tools such as Banner and Automic to research, test, and implement new functionalities in financial aid processes. Collaboration with the financial aid team is essential to optimize aid packaging strategies and to identify trends and patterns in financial aid allocation, making recommendations for adjustments as necessary. The Analyst will also assist the Director of Financial Aid and the Assistant Director of Financial Aid Operations with special projects and other duties as assigned, working closely with various campus partners including the Office of Institutional Research and the Office of Technology Services. In addition to financial aid analysis, the Analyst will develop and maintain admissions and financial aid dashboards and reports for senior leadership, ensuring that the institution stays informed about regulatory changes and compliance requirements related to financial aid. This includes preparing mandated state and federal financial aid and admissions data collections, such as the IPEDS Student Financial Aid Collection. The Analyst will conduct in-depth analyses of financial aid data to identify trends and areas for improvement, writing reports to ensure that financial aid processes meet compliance measures. Establishing and monitoring scheduled processes, including the Download process and Packaging and Repackaging, will also be part of the Analyst's responsibilities.
