About the position

The Financial Aid Processor is responsible for reviewing and approving financial aid files under the supervision of the Director of Title IV Administration & Compliance. This role ensures that all required documents meet Title IV eligibility standards and processes student financial aid awards efficiently.

Responsibilities

  • Run reports to identify files ready for review and payment.
  • Review packaging documentation utilizing the Financial Aid File checklist to verify all required documents are present and meet Department of Education Standards.
  • Coordinate with Campus FA Staff to obtain additional documentation, when necessary, prior to approval of awards.
  • Review and approve Professional Judgements.
  • Originate and modify Pell Grant and Stafford Loans in the Ed Express system.
  • Review pushed ISIRs, Multiple Reporting Records, Pell Overpayment (POP) notifications.
  • Participate in regular audits to ensure regulatory compliance with all internal, state and federal regulations governing the administration of Title IV Aid.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the Director of Title IV Administration & Compliance.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or Equivalent
  • Minimum of one (1) year of experience in the administration of student financial aid or a relevant combination of education and experience.
  • Knowledge of the administration of Title IV Student Aid programs including FSEOG, Pell Grant, and Stafford Loans.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Program (Word and Excel).
  • Familiarity with EdExpress and/or CampusVue software.
  • Basic business and/or finance principles.
