The Financial Analyst 2-Financial Planning & Analysis role at Loma Linda University Health involves providing comprehensive financial analysis services to support investment and financial decision-making. Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive financial analysis services.
• Assist in the investment and financial analysis process by analyzing available data.
• Prepare action plans or presentations to provide recommendations to department heads and administrative leadership.
• Identify and implement financial improvement initiatives.
• Complete assigned projects efficiently and with minimum supervision.
• Perform other duties as needed.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree required.
• Minimum three years of financial analysis or related experience required.
• Healthcare experience preferred.
• Strong skills in problem solving, project management, financial or accounting reporting, statistical analysis, or business intelligence tools (Power BI/Tableau, SQL).
• Ability to extract and manipulate data from multiple financial systems accurately.

Nice-to-haves

• Master's Degree or financial relevant certification preferred.
• Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or Certified Healthcare Financial Professional (CHFP) preferred.
