About the position

Realterm is a real estate operator that specializes in capitalizing on insights into the supply and demand of real assets through the global supply chain. The company is looking for candidates for its 2025 Analyst Program, which is designed to provide exposure to all aspects of the real estate private equity business. Successful candidates will work closely with senior leaders and may be eligible for promotion to an Associate role upon completion of the program. The program is set to begin in July 2025, and the application process will remain open until November 1, 2024, or until 400 applications are received. This position may be located in various cities including Annapolis, Chicago, New York, Washington, DC, and Los Angeles. During the program, analysts will be responsible for creating and maintaining complex financial models, supporting the sourcing, underwriting, and execution of investment opportunities, and assisting in the investment due diligence process. They will also create internal and external meeting materials, coordinate deal closings, and research new investment strategies. Responsibilities

  • Creating and maintaining complex financial models (i.e., Argus and Excel)
  • Supporting the sourcing, underwriting, and execution of investment opportunities
  • Supporting the investment due diligence process
  • Creating internal and external meeting materials, including Investment Committee, tenant and investor presentations
  • Coordination of deal closings
  • Researching new investment strategies and supporting the raising of private equity funds

Requirements

  • Current senior, or recent graduate (within 6 months of graduation date) or analyst with 1-2 years of relevant industry experience
  • BA/BS Degree, majors in Accounting, Economics, Finance or Real Estate preferred
  • Strong financial modeling and analytical skills including an excellent working knowledge of Microsoft Office (i.e., PowerPoint, Excel, Word)
  • Ability to conceive and execute on bespoke investment and strategic analyses
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills with the ability to communicate complex concepts concisely
  • Ability to work well in a fast-paced team environment
  • Positive attitude and a very strong work ethic
  • Attention to detail, highly organized and proactive
  • Ability to learn quickly, a high degree of intellectual curiosity, and a passion for real estate and investing
