About the position

The Financial Analyst 3 position at ACORD Solutions Group is responsible for overseeing account management, preparing variance reports, and assisting in the budget preparation and implementation of an annual operating budget of approximately $54 million. This role requires strong analytical skills to address complex fiscal issues, make recommendations, and support financial decision-making within the organization.

Responsibilities

• Oversee account management and prepare various variance reports.
• Aid in the budget preparation and implementation of the annual operating budget.
• Perform complex planning and analytical functions.
• Analyze complex fiscal issues and information, recognizing potential impacts and identifying alternative solutions.
• Present information clearly and concisely, both verbally and in writing.
• Utilize spreadsheet and database software for financial analysis and reporting.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance or related areas.
• Experience with accounting, purchasing, accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and business management practices.
• Strong analytical skills to identify and resolve problems.
• Knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP) and fund accounting.
• Ability to work effectively under stressful conditions and manage conflicting priorities.
• Proven ability to present information clearly and concisely.
• Experience using spreadsheet and database software for financial analysis.
