About the position

Being a member of this team means you'll partner with business units by providing financial analysis for decision-making purposes. We'll rely on you to report, plan and evaluate our financial results, as well ensure that our financial transactions and reports are timely, accurate and efficient. You'll help us continue to drive our exceptional financial performance. Johnsonville, LLC, a strong, high-growth company, has an excellent opportunity for an outstanding individual to join us as a Financial Analyst at our global headquarters. This position will play a key role within the operations finance team, streamlining processes for the greater team and creating a center of excellence for cost accounting activities. A successful candidate will be detail-oriented and have a strong desire for continuous improvement across the network.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute a centralized approach to month and year-end close responsibilities for all domestic production plants
  • Develop SOPs for key processes associated with month-end, monthly forecasting, and the annual operating plan
  • Partner with various functional area leaders to help define, measure, educate and bring actionable insights to key performance measures
  • Continuously learn the manufacturing side of our business including plant operations and supply chain as you work with members across functions
  • Manage measurement and tracking of major cost-savings initiatives, ensuring transparency and accountability towards the impact of these activities
  • Create tools and reporting to allow for centralized creation of weekly and monthly plant reports, saving transactional time across our production facilities
  • Coordinating with the applicable Plant Controllers and other resources, develop ad-hoc network analysis as needed
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships and communications at all levels of the organization

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance required
  • 1-3 years of accounting/analytical experience, required
  • Experience in manufacturing environment or CPG a plus but not required
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office
  • Excellent attention to detail and organization abilities
  • Demonstrated proficiency in analytics and problem solving, with a focus on continuous improvement
  • Demonstrated, ongoing self-growth and development
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills and the ability to work in a cross-functional, fast-paced environment
