About the position

The Financial Account Manager position is a direct hire role focused on providing financial analysis and client management services. The ideal candidate will be polished and professional, capable of preparing and presenting financial statements to clients while coordinating with various stakeholders to ensure comprehensive financial reporting and analysis.

Responsibilities

  • Attend offsite client meetings to present results of comprehensive study of the financial data of self-insured and fully-insured for Workers' Compensation, Property & Liability, and Benefit pools.
  • Coordinate with clients, actuaries, auditors, investment advisers, and internal departments to gather data.
  • Assist clients in preparing periodic Treasurer Reports, Payment Orders, Cash Flow Analysis, and Annual Budgets.
  • Prepare/maintain all source documents in an orderly fashion that support the conclusions.
  • Maintain contact with the client and the account executive/account manager throughout the fiscal year to stay abreast of their needs.
  • Stay abreast of recent legislation, FASB and GASB updates to enhance the services provided to the client.
  • Prepare and submit required filings: State Controller, Department of Managed Health Care, etc.
  • Prepare PowerPoint presentations as needed for client meetings and conferences.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • 4-6 years of experience in financial analysis and account management.
  • Strong presentation skills to effectively communicate financial data to clients.
  • Ability to coordinate with multiple stakeholders including clients, actuaries, and auditors.

Benefits

  • Salary range of $60,000 - $65,000 per year.
