About the position

The Financial Analyst/Accountant I position at Core Lab involves assisting the Credit Manager in maintaining a customer database within the company's ERP system. The role focuses on monitoring accounts receivable balances and ensuring compliance with reporting requirements, while also supporting various financial analysis tasks.

Responsibilities

  • Assist with daily customer maintenance including new customer setup in Oracle and updating existing customer information.
  • Perform preliminary research for OFAC restrictions and sanctions for customers globally.
  • Calculate bad debt reserves and generate related reports for operational personnel.
  • Assist in complying with external and internal auditor requests related to accounts receivable processes.
  • Review, record, and maintain various types of lease contracts and lease records using lease management software.
  • Assist the Consolidation department with reviewing monthly Senior Management books and financial reports.
  • Support the Credit and Consolidation department in various tasks and projects as needed.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Finance, or Accounting required.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and any ERP system.
  • Strong technical, organizational, and communication skills.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience in the oilfield services industry is a plus.
