Responsibilities

  • Participate in general accounting and financial reporting services for the region and its affiliates.
  • Perform month-end close and reconciliation processes.
  • Assist with the completion of all required work papers for annual audits.
  • May assist in the preparation of tax and government reporting.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or four years of experience in accounting as a substitute for the degree.
  • CPA and/or MBA preferred.
  • Thorough knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
  • Knowledge of electronic data processing systems.
  • Proficiency in electronic spreadsheet (Excel) and word processing programs.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Proactive, articulate, effective, and positive communication skills.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience in financial management of physician practices is helpful.
  • Reimbursement exposure/experience is helpful.
