About the position

The Financial Analyst position at Assured Environments involves conducting moderately complex financial analyses and preparing reports to support department management. The role includes forecasting, budget preparation, and statistical reporting, aimed at enhancing financial decision-making and productivity within the organization.

Responsibilities

• Prepares weekly, monthly detailed product/customer/supplier reports to support financial decisions.
• Collects, analyzes, evaluates, and reports data to increase sales productivity.
• Prepares revenue forecasts and monthly revenue variance analysis.
• Assists in the preparation of monthly financials and financial close packages.
• Completes ad hoc reports and analyses as necessary.
• Assists with monthly financial presentations and analysis.
• Manages forecasting, including detailed department-level reviews of future cost trends.
• Processes payroll in the absence of the Human Resources department.
• Gathers Union reporting from ADP to process/pay Union invoices.
• Manages vendor invoicing and ensures correct cost center coding.
• Tracks monthly technician commission eligibility and submits for payroll processing.
• Manages daily/weekly/monthly cash flow processing, including bank transaction processing.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration/Management, Accounting, International Business, or related field, or equivalent years of experience.
• Minimum 1-3 years of experience in a financial analyst or accounting position required.
• Strong analytical skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and Access.
• Ability to assimilate broad source data into planning models and identify variances and trends.

Nice-to-haves

• CFA License is a plus.
• Experience with JDE and Cognos preferred.
• Proficiency with Google applications (Docs, Sheets, Calendar, Drive, etc.).
