Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or related business field required.
• High School Diploma/GED and two years of related work experience accepted.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office spreadsheet applications and PeopleSoft General Ledger preferred.

Responsibilities

• Complete quarterly and annual statutory filings for external regulators, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
• Prepare separate audited financial statements for each regulated company, maintaining high standards of financial reporting.
• Perform statistical, cost, and financial analysis of data reported in various financial systems.
• Review costs and conduct cost-benefit analysis related to projects and programs.
• Record, classify, and summarize financial transactions and events in accordance with generally accepted accounting principles.
• Assist in analyzing financial data, extracting and defining relevant information to interpret past financial performance and project future financial probabilities.
• Develop financial reports for forecasting, trending, and results analysis.
• Interpret financial transactions and events for users who must make economic or business decisions.
