About the position

H4 Enterprises is seeking an experienced Financial Analyst to provide analytical and professional support services for federal financial management and budget tracking. The role requires expertise in federal financial management, including the ability to interpret and develop financial guidance and procedural documents. The candidate will be responsible for preparing financial documents, conducting budget tracking, and ensuring compliance with federal regulations.

Responsibilities

  • Provide analytical and professional support services for federal financial management and budget tracking.
  • Read, interpret, and develop financial management, regulatory, and accounting guidance and procedural documents.
  • Prepare pertinent financial documents as required.
  • Conduct budget tracking and documentation.
  • Prepare and update weekly invoice trackers.
  • Monitor and track reimbursable agreements to ensure timely collections.
  • Review and process current and prior year reimbursement agreements.
  • Develop corrective action plans related to external audit findings.
  • Answer questions regarding federal finance, budget, and accounting matters.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, business administration, or a relevant financial management discipline.
  • 5 - 8 years of experience performing federal accounting, analysis, or financial management activities.
  • Demonstrated effective oral and written communication skills.
  • Proficient with Microsoft applications (Word, Excel, Outlook, SharePoint, PowerPoint, Teams).
  • Ability to maintain a federal background clearance investigation (T2- Public Trust Investigation with a 5 Sensitivity Level Clearance).
  • U.S. Citizenship required.

Nice-to-haves

  • Knowledge of all aspects of federal accounting, budget, financial management, and business operations requirements.
  • Knowledge of U.S. Standard General Ledger (USSGL) and requirements for maintenance of a complete, accurate trial balance.
  • Working knowledge of federal financial management obligations and expenditures.
  • Specific knowledge of OMB Circular No. A-11, Preparation, Submission, and Execution of the Budget.
  • Knowledge of federal financial management systems.
