About the position

The Financial Analyst - Budget and Planning role at Presbyterian Senior Living is focused on supporting the budget process, financial projections, and analysis within the organization. This position involves developing tools for budgeting, managing financial modeling projects, and maintaining the Prophix system for financial reporting. The analyst will also assist the finance and accounting department with various duties and special projects.

Responsibilities

• Support the PSL budget process by updating and developing tools for budgeting.
• Assist with financial projections and forecasts.
• Manage or support financial analysis or modeling projects.
• Maintain and administer the Prophix system for financial reporting and budgeting.
• Train new team members on the Prophix system.
• Complete special projects and assist the finance & accounting department with other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in accounting or related field.
• At least five years of general ledger accounting, auditing, or financial analysis experience, preferably in healthcare.
• Experience with computerized accounting and other systems.
• Ability to organize and analyze large sets of data.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel.
