About the position

This position is responsible for coordinating and monitoring budgets, re-forecasting, and analysis of operating expenses. The role involves developing, interpreting, and implementing financial concepts for financial planning and control, as well as performing analysis to determine present and future financial performance.

Responsibilities

  • Provide business financial analysis and support for business leaders.
  • Input, review, and approve Authorization requests and Purchase Orders to ensure accuracy and budget compliance.
  • Determine expense type (Capital versus Operating Expense).
  • Work within SAP and other accounting systems to ensure accurate recording of project costs.
  • Create reports to support workflow management and provide visibility and timely results.
  • Provide timely input for the month-end close process, ensuring accruals are accurate and complete.
  • Assist with variance and operational analysis.
  • Compile, analyze, interpret, and present data related to current and future operations.
  • Create reports, charts, graphs, and presentations to aid in efficient business operations.
  • Assist with forecast models using Microsoft Excel and Smartview/Hyperion applications as needed.
  • Translate high-level business requirements into functional specifications for the Network Operation's organization and manage changes to such specifications.
  • Facilitate communication and gain commitment between business units and network operations business planning function.
  • Work with business stakeholders to analyze operations and recommend solutions to align functions with organizational goals.
  • Understand the structure, policies, and operations of the organization and recommend solutions to improve processes and planning.
  • Analyze data sources to assess trends and develop actionable insights and recommendations to management.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in business or related field.
  • Minimum of two (2) years of Business analysis or related experience.

  • Excellent knowledge of software applications such as Word and Excel.
