About the position
We are seeking a dedicated professional primarily responsible for supporting lease (ASC 842) and fixed asset accounting and budgeting. This role will support IU Health's extensive leasing portfolio, which includes over $170 million in right-of-use assets across more than 180 leases, and fixed assets for regions. The successful candidate will perform financial analysis and transactional oversight, providing crucial support to our Real Estate team and regional capital. The Financial Analyst supports the system financial team through data analysis, interpretation, reporting, and modeling. Supports aspects of monthly and ad hoc reporting and assists in the preparation of pro formas based on historical, comparative, and projection data. Performs analysis to support outcome and impact based decision making. Identifies, analyzes and interprets trends or patterns in complex data sets with a high degree of accuracy.
Responsibilities
- Support lease (ASC 842) and fixed asset accounting and budgeting.
- Perform financial analysis and transactional oversight.

Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Accounting, Finance, or related field is required.
- 0-3 years of relevant experience required.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office products/applications required.
- Strong Microsoft Excel experience required.
- Relational database and financial or operational modeling experience is a plus.
