About the position

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Commercial Real Estate Financial Analyst to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of financial analysis and corporate finance, with the ability to leverage financial software and analytics tools to drive successful real estate transactions. This role requires excellent communication skills with a keen eye for market trends.

Responsibilities

• Update Argus Enterprise models for all assets, including maintaining current models and building new models with tenant changes.
• Update and create portfolio performance metrics specific to SEC filings, 10k, 8k, 10q.
• Drive special projects throughout the company including IT, budgeting/forecasting, and analytics initiatives.
• Develop relationships with lenders and perform monthly draw requests for tenant leasing in the portfolio.
• Analyze and underwrite acquisition opportunities including pro forma financial analysis, lease review, and due diligence of property financials.
• Assist with portfolio oversight including property performance, leasing activity, market research, and compliance with lender requirements.
• Assist in assembling investment memoranda for the firm's investment committee and investor base.
• Develop relationships with third-party brokers to obtain market information and uncover acquisition opportunities.
• Create reporting metrics to analyze overall portfolio performance for presentation to CEO, CFO, and Board of Directors.
• Collaborate with leasing and property management teams to create budgets and long-term forecasts.
• Perform portfolio level analysis of budget/forecast data to identify trends and updates to model assumptions.
• Review public financial reports to evaluate the business and benchmark against public peers for the Board of Directors.
• Identify and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and accuracy of information reported to management.
• Prepare and analyze operating metrics reports on a monthly basis including sales, occupancy, and leasing activity reports.
• Assist in the preparation of the monthly financial and operating reporting package, including variance analysis.
• Assist CFO in maintaining corporate model and meeting all investor's needs.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree, master's degree preferred.
• 1 - 3 years of relevant work experience.
• Superior quantitative and analytical skills.
• Proficient in Argus Enterprise Software.
• Proficient in Yardi Voyager Software.
• Proficient in CoStar.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
• Stellar attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a diverse team.
• Excellent time management and organizational skills.
• Outstanding written and oral communication skills.
