About the position

The Financial Analyst/Copywriter role at Goodwin Recruiting combines financial analysis with creative writing to produce compelling Direct Response marketing materials focused on investment topics. This position is integral to the Marketing Department, requiring collaboration with editorial teams and subject matter experts to identify financial opportunities and craft persuasive marketing strategies.

Responsibilities

• Work closely with the Editorial team and SMEs to identify key financial and investment opportunities, shaping impactful marketing strategies and positioning.
• Analyze financial market trends and the broader investment landscape, transforming insights into engaging and persuasive marketing copy.
• Create a wide range of direct marketing materials, including video scripts, long-form HTML promotions, direct mail packages, print advertorials, pay-per-click ads, and other promotional content.
• Develop special reports on current financial events and market conditions to serve as bonus materials for new marketing campaigns.
• Interpret and assist in the design of graphics and charts related to the stock market and other financial instruments.

Requirements

• 5+ years of professional copywriting experience, preferably in the finance or investment sectors.
• Bachelor's degree in Finance or a related field.
• In-depth understanding of financial markets and current market trends.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Microsoft Office, with strong English language and grammar skills.
