About the position

The Distribution Financial Analyst at Upstate Niagara Cooperative, Inc. is responsible for analyzing and optimizing the financial performance of the company's distribution operations. Responsibilities

• Analyze financial data related to distribution operations, including costs, revenues, and profitability.
• Develop and maintain financial models to support decision-making and strategic planning.
• Monitor and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) for distribution activities.
• Conduct variance analysis and identify trends, risks, and opportunities.
• Collaborate with distribution, logistics, and supply chain teams to optimize financial performance.
• Ensure the accuracy and integrity of financial transactions.
• Prepare and present financial reports and recommendations to senior management.
• Assist in budgeting and forecasting processes for distribution operations.
• Ensure compliance with financial policies and procedures.
• Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.
• 3+ years of experience in financial analysis, preferably in a distribution or logistics environment.
• Strong proficiency in financial modeling and data analysis tools (e.g., Excel, SQL).
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
