About the position

The Financial Analyst for Kindle will partner with the global Kindle business within Amazon's Devices Division, providing a comprehensive range of financial services. This role involves influencing key business decisions related to pricing, promotional strategies, and program economics, while also driving financial planning and analysis for the product line.

Responsibilities

• Compile and review financial results and operational plans and communicate results to leadership.
• Drive the financial planning / budgeting process.
• Lead key analytical projects that assist and influence the business.
• Develop business insights and KPI dashboards.

Requirements

• 1+ years of finance experience
• Knowledge of standard software including Excel, Access, Oracle, Essbase, SQL and VBA skills
• Experience in corporate finance including budgeting/planning, forecasting and reporting
• Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting or related field

Nice-to-haves

• 2+ years of participating in continuous improvement projects in your team to scale and improve controllership with measurable results experience
• Experience in TM1, Data Warehouse and SQL
• Experience using data to influence business decisions
