About the position

Siemens Smart Infrastructure is seeking a dynamic Financial Analyst for the Electrification & Automation (EA) Business Unit, focusing on the Protection & Automation portfolio. This role is critical in driving business performance and growth strategies across the PA segments, providing opportunities for leadership development in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Support financial and strategic analysis for the Protection & Automation (PA) segments.
• Create accurate forecasts and budgets for the balance sheet, cash flow, and income statement.
• Own and drive recurring processes to monitor timely sales recognition following completed contract and percentage of completion revenue recognition methods.
• Prepare monthly KPIs and support management presentations.
• Use SAP, Salesforce, and Tableau to perform analysis.
• Drive digitalization initiatives across PA.
• Create and optimize reporting and analysis through digital tools like Tableau and Salesforce.
• Analyze monthly results through variance analysis and provide commentary on deviations.
• Conduct customer product profitability analysis.
• Prepare and present presentations to stakeholders.
• Analyze PA cost structure, draw conclusions, implement required actions, and deliver management level commentary.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting, or Business Management.
• Proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint.
• Intermediate experience with SAP or other ERP systems.
• Experience with Hyperion and Salesforce.com is a plus.
• 2-5 years of experience in financial analysis, budgeting, and forecasting.
• Ability to prioritize tasks and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across various functional departments and levels of management.
