About the position

Stryker is seeking motivated individuals to join our Finance and Accounting Rotational (FAR) Program, designed for recent graduates who are eager to kickstart their careers in finance. This program offers a unique opportunity to apply finance and accounting principles in a dynamic and fast-paced environment through three one-year rotations, which may require geographic relocation. Participants will receive structured development through job shadows, product showcases, formal training, mentoring, and personal coaching, allowing them to build meaningful relationships with senior leadership and gain global exposure with business partners from around the world. As a FAR Analyst, you will work on challenging assignments that span multiple areas of Stryker, directly impacting the company's bottom line. The core rotations available include Financial Planning and Analysis, Treasury, Internal Audit, Financial Reporting, Technical Accounting, Cost Accounting, and Financial Systems. This program is not only about gaining technical skills but also about developing leadership capabilities at an accelerated pace, preparing you for a bright future in finance. We are looking for self-starters who are strategic thinkers and customer-oriented achievers. Responsibilities

  • Apply finance and accounting principles through three one-year rotations.
  • Participate in job shadows, product showcases, formal training, mentoring, and personal coaching.
  • Develop meaningful relationships with senior leadership.
  • Gain global exposure and finance visibility with business partners.
  • Build technical, leadership, and systems capabilities at an accelerated pace.
  • Work on challenging assignments that impact the bottom line across multiple areas of Stryker.
  • Obtain coaching and guidance from leadership advisors, managers, and mentors.

Requirements

  • Pursuing a bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a business-related field, with completion between December 2024 and June 2025.
  • Minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale.
  • Eligibility to work on a permanent basis in the United States during and after rotations.
  • Commitment to temporarily relocate within the United States for a rotational assignment.
  • Willingness to pursue a certified professional designation (CPA or CMA).
  • No prior related business full-time experience, excluding internships.

Nice-to-haves

  • Concentration in Accounting, Finance, Business Analytics, or Economics.
  • Progress towards a Master's degree with an emphasis in Finance or Accounting encouraged.
  • Academic excellence in Financial Acumen.
  • History of leadership experience in on-campus or off-campus activities.
  • Internship experience in finance or accounting.
  • Ability to develop and document work processes for process improvement.
  • Proficiency in applications such as Excel, PowerBI, and SAP certification.
