About the position

The Financial Analyst role at Genpact focuses on providing financial analytical support for Aerospace contracts. The position involves managing billing processes, analyzing financial data, and developing financial models to aid in business planning and forecasting. The analyst will also be responsible for preparing financial reports and identifying process improvements to enhance efficiency.

Responsibilities

• Manage the billing process, including invoicing, tracking payments, and resolving any billing discrepancies.
• Collaborate with the Sales and Account Management teams to ensure accurate and timely client billing.
• Analyze financial data to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for improvement.
• Develop and maintain financial models to support business planning and forecasting activities.
• Prepare accurate and timely financial reports, including monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
• Assist in the preparation of budgets, forecasts, and financial plans.
• Conduct in-depth analysis of financial performance, highlighting key insights and recommendations.
• Identify and implement process improvements to streamline billing, planning, and reporting procedures.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment and accuracy of financial data.
• Stay updated with industry trends, regulations, and best practices in finance and accounting.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field.
• MBA or CPA certification is a plus.
• Proven experience as a Finance Analyst or similar role, preferably in billing, planning, and reporting.
• Strong understanding of financial principles, accounting practices, and financial software/systems.
