About the position
The Financial Analyst for Foreign Military Sales at PROJECTXYZ is responsible for providing logistics support to Australian Defense Force (ADF) agencies involved in the Foreign Military Sales (FMS) Program administered by the U.S. Army. This role requires managing multiple tasks across various cases, liaising with different DoD organizations, and ensuring effective supply chain management and inventory support.
Responsibilities
- Liaison with USASAC, DLA, and other DoD organizations regarding logistics support and operational requirements of ADF agencies.
- Assist the AT customer base and other agencies to clarify and progress customer FMS sustainment requirements.
- Identify problems within the FMS supply chain and advise on resolutions.
- Maintain expertise on FMS logistics information systems and provide training as required.
- Provide inventory management support including price and availability investigations and requisition processing.
- Assist with the investigation and resolution of Australian FMS billing anomalies.
- Raise and submit Supply Discrepancy Reports (SDR) and Transport Discrepancy Reports (TDR).
- Assist the Freight Forwarder and Australian Embassy to resolve frustration freight.
- Develop and provide regular reports generated from various US IT systems to recipients.
- Assist with repair management, technical data requests, and other FMS logistics support activities.
Requirements
- Active Secret or higher government security clearance.
- Two years of logistical experience, including task-related technical experience in logistic support planning or material fielding.
- Associate degree in Logistics Management, Supply Chain Management, Project Management, Business Administration, or related fields.
