About the position

The Financial Analyst, FP&A (P2) position at Raytheon is designed to support the Rates team by providing valuable insights into financial data related to overhead expenses and rates. The role involves analyzing how strategic management decisions affect company performance, particularly in relation to sales and margins. The successful candidate will engage in various financial tasks, including the preparation and analysis of financial reports, and will collaborate with experts in Financial Planning & Analysis, Budgets, and Accounting organizations. This position is fully remote, requiring the candidate to work from one of the 50 U.S. states.

Responsibilities

  • Work with manager on rate pool models in Rate Structure.
  • Prepare details for Forward Pricing Rate Proposal (FPRP) updates.
  • Generate Monthly DCMA Reports.
  • Analyze and submit monthly occupancy charge outs.
  • Conduct monthly expense forecasts and variance analysis.
  • Prepare relevant 1030 inputs for submission to Corporate.
  • Support special projects as required.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Math, Business or a related field.
  • Typically requires 2+ years of prior relevant financial experience.
  • Experience with Rates, Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A), and/or Cost or Government Accounting.
  • U.S. Citizenship is required.

  • Proficient computer skills in MS Office - Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.

  • Working knowledge of SAP (APEX), and Analysis for Office (AO) and/or Control.
