About the position

The Financial Analyst will provide essential finance support for the Healthcare+ Line of Business FP&A team, focusing on forecasting, budget analysis, and financial reporting. This role involves analyzing operating results, cash flow projections, and spend analytics, while also summarizing and communicating financial results to various stakeholders.

Responsibilities

  • Perform Finance functions including month-end close, operating expense analysis, and monthly financial reporting
  • Income statement and balance sheet statement reconciliation
  • Prepare, review & maintain monthly standard reporting
  • Assist in the budgeting and forecasting process
  • Compile P&L, Balance Sheet/Cash Flow and capital month end & forecast summaries for leadership
  • Assist in preparation of Monthly Operating Review for Leadership
  • Build/establish relationships with key business, financial, and operational personnel to ensure full understanding
  • Consolidate Capital Spend by Region for the total Line of Business, analyze and report monthly spend & forecast
  • Assist with Balance Sheet & Cash Flow consolidation & review
  • Support the annual bonus process including accrual analysis, process & calendar, financial modeling and detailed review
  • Perform other related tasks, projects and ad hoc analyses as assigned

Requirements

  • Strong technical financial and analytical skills
  • Proficiency in spreadsheet and modeling applications
  • Excellent organizational skills, effectiveness in prioritizing work, ability to multitask, and comfort with ambiguity
  • Demonstrate ability to interact with senior-level management and to work independently
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Experience with Planning Analytics, PFS, Oracle Discoverer, Smartview a plus
  • 2-3 years of work experience in financial planning, financial analysis, accounting, business performance analytics, or similar roles required
  • A BS/BA in a relevant field is required, majoring in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration
