About the position

The FP&A Analyst plays a crucial role in Seacoast's financial planning team, focusing on various corporate and departmental projects. This position emphasizes line of business performance management, budgeting and forecasting, merger and acquisition activities, and systems implementations. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication and organizational skills, enabling effective collaboration with other teams to achieve strategic outcomes.

Responsibilities

  • Provides support for completion of the bank's annual budget, quarterly forecast, and the three-year strategic planning process.
  • Partners with the Shared Services organization to provide in-depth Line of Business (LOB) budgeting and monthly forecasting support focusing on diligent expense management.
  • Drives financial operational excellence and continuous improvement projects by leading or contributing significantly.
  • Collaborates with business leaders to share insights and drive improved outcomes, partnering with functional teams.
  • Uses and/or develops financial models and cost-benefit analyses to direct future business ventures, new products, strategies, and marketing campaigns.
  • Develops profitability metrics and KPIs to benchmark future line of business growth.
  • Supports the Bank's M&A activity, including due diligence, forecasting, and post-close analytics.
  • Adheres to Seacoast Bank's Code of Conduct.

Requirements

  • Prior FP&A or equivalent experience within a bank or other financial institution.
  • Strong financial acuity, including working knowledge of forecasting, budgeting, and variance analysis concepts.
  • Data management experience and the ability to manage large sets of data and prepare accurate reports.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills to deliver analysis and recommendations in a concise informative manner.
  • Self-motivated, highly analytical, flexible, and able to deal with ambiguity.
  • Organized multitasker: able to prioritize workload in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Power BI, Power Query, Workiva, and Project skills.

Nice-to-haves

  • SQL, MySQL, and Project Management skills are preferred.
  • Master's degree or equivalent experience preferred.
