About the position

The Financial Analyst - Grants Management position involves supporting the implementation and verification of the Oracle Fusion ERP Finance system, focusing on grants and funds administration. The role encompasses managing grants setup, funds balance, billing, reporting operations, and ensuring compliance with statutory and regulatory requirements throughout the grants lifecycle.

Responsibilities

  • Provide funds/grants operations support to stakeholders and the finance and project community during the implementation of the system for funds/grants management activities and finance operations.
  • Support activities related to funds administration, closures, amendments, and funding adjustments.
  • Administer funding limits and billing rules, including reimbursable billing activities and grants reporting.
  • Ensure capital funding alignments, statutory and regulatory reporting, and audit responses are effectively managed.
  • Oversee sub-ledger accounting, period-end close activities, and grants accounting functions.
  • Collaborate on third-party integrations, data management, and user acceptance testing for any configuration changes.
  • Conduct reporting and reconciliation of grants activities, resolving any discrepancies related to labor and non-labor expenses and their associated overhead.

Requirements

  • Undergraduate degree in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, Accounting, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 4 years' experience in PeopleSoft/Oracle Fusion Financial and ERP implementations, upgrades, and maintenance.
  • Strong understanding of ERP systems and processes.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience with PeopleSoft ERP or Oracle Fusion Cloud ERP.
  • Experience in grants management.
